Dr. Ryan E. Christensen earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University's College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating with honors in 2002 and immediately joining Tranquility Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Christensen's professional interests include small animal surgery and laser surgery, and he is a member of the AVMA and NJVMA. When he is not at the clinic, Dr. Christensen's favorite activities are spending time with his family, mountain biking, and making trips to the Jersey Shore. He currently resides in Lake Tranquility with his wife Donna, their sons Riley, Nicholas, and Jack, two cats, and a dog.
Dr. Linda Krotje-Wall earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ohio State University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1978. In 1988, she received board certification in Small Animal Internal Medicine. Dr. Krotje-Wall works part-time at Tranquility Veterinary Clinic, where her special interests are general medicine, dermatology, and ultrasonography. When she is not at the hospital, she is busy with her twins' many activities in college and with operating a small farm of chickens, a horse, 20 Simmental cattle, and a dog named Happy.
Dr. Michelle Hewitt studied at the North Carolina College of Veterinary Medicine, where she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. Upon completing her veterinary degree, Dr. Hewitt returned to New Jersey and joined Tranquility Veterinary Clinic, where she has practiced since. She is a member of the AVMA, NJVMA, and NWNJVMA, and her special interests include renal disease, endocrine disease, dermatology, and geriatrics. A pet lover herself, Dr. Hewitt is the proud owner of two rescued cats and a rescued dog. In her free time, she volunteers her services at Father John's Animal House, helping pets in need.
Dr. Sarah Jones earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016 and is elated to be a part of an amazing hospital team that truly cares about its patients and clients, and to serve a wonderful community of pets and people. Her areas of professional interest include behavior medicine and clinical pathology. In addition, Dr. Jones is Fear Free Certified in an effort to make veterinary visits a more pleasurable experience for pets and their owners. Dr. Jones has shadowed an equine veterinarian, worked as a laboratory technician at an equine hospital, and shadowed at a small-animal clinic prior to attending veterinary school. In 2016, she completed a student externship at Tranquility Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Jones currently has two beagles, along with a menagerie of pets. Dr. Jones also cares for two horse, three cats, two goldfish, and two beta fish. She enjoys crocheting, knitting, weaving, and other yarn crafts, and volunteering at Germania Park in Dover, NJ. She has also been a horseback rider for over 20 years.
